unable to log in to AEA

for whatever reason i am unable to log into AEA today. i have logged in and used it a lot at first but it’s been sitting still just running on it’s own for a while. I tried logging in today and it’s giving me this error: “UNKNOWN ERROR: unable to log in as Administrator or connection error”.

Has anyone out there ran into this or have any idea what could be causing this?

Sounds like the AEA has lost connection to the database. Try and restart the server.

yeah after viewing the logs that is what i came across. in the process of rebooting the server now. will update after back up.

Do you store the SQL database on the same server as the AEA?

If you do try adding *.ldf and *.mdf to the exclusions list to stop them being scanner.

you could try restarting the SERVICE first instead of the whole server.
