I’ve duplicated this now on two Android phones, an HTC One and an HTC Inspire 4G. When I attempt to rename a group I have created in the Call/SMS Blocker from ‘New Group’ to, say, ‘Blacklist’ or ‘Blocked’, every letter I type is inserted as the first character on the line. So, instead of a ‘B’, then ‘L’, I get ‘LB’, for example. All letters show as capitals as well. The cursor keeps going back to the start of the line and the delete function works sporadically.
As far as I can tell, the actual group works well. I have no problem typing elsewhere in avast! Mobile Security, just this one spot.
This was sent into Avast awhile ago (a week or so ago?). I was trying to help a new user set up the Blocker when I noticed this error and sent it in from their phone. I didn’t notice this error on our other phones until Tuesday I think. Confirming that it is an error across all phones I’ve seen so far.
New member here. Just tried to set up call blocking and noticed the same thing. Also noticed that when I tried to select the days of the week to block the calls, the individual day blocks would alternate between selected and deselected. Took a few minutes for all of them to stay selected. Also when I try to select sms block it affects the days to block selections as well. For instance Saturday will deselect when I attempt to choose sms blocking.
Have not tested the functionality of the feature yet as I am waiting to see if the number shows up this afternoon…
Other than that issue I must say I am happy with the product 8). Hope you guys figure this out.
