Unable to print email message and access to some website

Hi,
I have install Avast Pro to a customer yesterday.
Now, it is impossible to him to :

  • Print his email in Outlook Express (nothing append when he clic on the print button or File / Print)
  • Access to some functions (it seems to be javascript) on his website

Can it be because of Avast ?

Disable Avast’s providers one at a time and try to print/access pages to see if it is Avast causing this or not.

I have disable Avast but nothing is better.
That is strange is that everything worked before I install Avats …

What happens if you remove Avast with the uninstall util from Alwil’s website?
Is everything back to normal then?

Do you use any other antivirus? Did you uninstall it before installing avast?

I Have uninstall Avast with Avas uninstall tool.
Nothing better.

But did you try to uninstall avast! with Add/Remove programs applet of Control Panel before?
Did you use any other antivirus besides avast! in this computer?

Before Avast she used Norton Anti Virus .
This AV has been uninstall before installing Avast pro.

Make sure you have used the uninstall util for Norton or do it manually as explained on Symantec’s website. If you don’t remove Norton this way, there will still be things left which can cause problems.

Norton is notorious for being difficult to remove, lots of threads in the forum about this.
