Unable to register

I’m installing Avast! free in a new laptop.

For 3 days, I’m trying to register.

=> the registration step seems fine
=> I never receive any activation key into my mail box
=> I already checked in my spam boy : no msg
=> my email address is correct (same like I used to register to this forum : I received the activation email in few seconds. )

Any idea ?
Any other possibility to obtain a registration key ?

If you are registering through the main gui then there is no reg key to be sent as the registration is done from within the program itself, if you click on maintenance then registration what does it say?

as craigb say, if you use the online reg then there is no key. see the user guide…

On-line registration is very simple and it’s the preferred method for all users of avast Free Antivirus 5.x installed on a computer with standard Internet connectivity.

Sorry guys.

I executed an off-line registration because the impacted computer has no more internet connection.

I’m working with this excellent Avast for more than 5 years and - normaly - know a little bit the registration process.

I filled up the registration form from my own computer (having a correct internet connection) and received this msg
:

Your registration was successful

Additional information

* Your free license key is sent by email within 24 hours after this registration
* If you do not receive your license within 24 hours, please check your junk or SPAM folder
* You need to enter the license key in the program to continue to use it after the trial period expires (detailed instructions for inserting the license key are included in the email)

… but still awaiting this famous email for more than 3 days…

Bump this along for someone who knows about offline registration and maybe contacting avast.

Offline registration.
Fill the form here ( http://www.avast.com/registration-free-antivirus.php ) and enter (copy & paste) the serial number you’ve received by email.

Inserting the license key into: avast! Free Antivirus, avast! Pro Antivirus and avast! Internet Security.
