-= I uninstalled my prevoius version of Limewire to install a new one… but… after a few seconds of installation process… it keeps saying that a Limewire process is still runnning… I checked all the running services, folders and .dll related to Limewire… there were no left traces… I think this has something to do with the registry… Help please…? ???
First try restarting the machine. Then if it still will not install you can search the registry for any leftover entries. Although if you are not familiar with the windows registry you might consider just running a registry cleaner.
Of course the BEST solution would be to just forget P2P and use legal alternatives like Amazon MP3, Apple iTunes, Rhapsody, etc.
Amazon and iTunes are DRM free now so there really is no need for P2P
