Unable to remove avast internet security for compaq tc4400 laptop

Hi

I have a old laptop that run window 7 enterprise and it being giving me lot of issue with avast. I try uninstalling it, failed as it alway stuck on unregistering firewall,
a) try avast clean in safe mode also fail
b) partial success changing to no firewall as it stuck at the last part.
c) changing to minimal protection. Ok
d) still cannot remove avast internet security.

I am stump please advise.

Remove avast manually.

  • Remove all folders
  • Remove all files
  • Remove all registry entries
  • Reboot
  • Check for leftovers and if found, delete them.
