I ran a boot-time scan using avast! antivirus, and the scan found one Potentially Unwanted Program. It was classified as Win32:Adspy-DF [PUP]. avast! couldn’t remove it during the boot-time scan or send it to the Virus Chest, saying that the operation isn’t supported for that type of archive. I have the scan log if anyone needs it, but I really want to know if this has to be removed and if so, how, because avast! can’t do anything.
Probably it is packed in a way avast couldn’t remove only the infected file from the archive.
Can you post the file path and name? Which is this PUP?

Maybe just trying to delete your Internet temporary files.
Maybe just using CCleaner or even the internal cleaner of IE.
