Unable to report false Positive

Hi ,

When installing my invoice program (Developed by mee) I get a false positive, then when trying to report this falase positive I get a “Not all fields filled in”?

  • BUT - I filled in all fields that is not disabled??

Or even you can send them an email to them virus@avast.com on your subject heading mention “False Positive” without the punctuation marks.

Best way is create a ticket in support:

If the program was developed by you, fill out the fields ( where it asks versions and company name ) with " Developed by myself ". The report will go through.

No, it will not - Since the fields is disabled I cant fill them in can I?. And the report will no send as long as fields are not filled in. “That” was my problem.

A manual ticked is however filled in and false positive reported.
