I am trying to update a PC that has not been used for some time.
In the time it’s not been used, the Avast registration has expired - so I
need to reregister it.
However, when I try to do that, it won’t let me - the “register for free licence”
button is just greyed out.
I’ve tried to uninstall Avast to reinstall it and register it afresh, but it
won’t let me uninstall it either- just says that “an error occured and it could
not be uninstalled”.
Can anyone help??
I’m not a techy, so if you can help, please use simple terms!
