I recently did a through scan of my system and I checked scan archive files. But after the scan a list pop up and it said unable to scan archive files. Please help!
There is usually a reason given why a file could not be scanned. Please post the entire message.

Probably nothing… some archive files can’t be scanned as they’re password protected.
Anyway, you shouldn’t worry as archive files are ‘inert’, when any file is extracted, avast could scan it. Into an archive, a virus is not ‘executed’.
If you drag the column over, the complete message will be readable.
avast should also say why something can’t be scanned, password protected being most common, see image.
