Hello: I ran the scan on my computer and its tell me that i have 238 or 283 files in the windows/all users folders that could not be scanned. Could you explain what i have to do to make it scan those files. its telling me that errors occurred. Please help me. Thanks
What Operating System are you using? What are the exact errors being displayed by avast? Any other information that might help?

You should, at least, give us some names and paths of the files…
If they’re passworded they could belong to other legitimic applications (like SpyBot, Ad-aware, etc.).
Not only does it tell you what files can’t be scanned but it also tells you why they couldn’t be scanned, if you can give a few examples as suggested by Technical. avast won’t know the passwords so will be unable to scan password protected files.
