Unable to Scan

Hi all, I just started using Avast 4.7 Home edition. When I’m done my scan I recieve a report that says:

C:\ProgramFiles\Lavasoft\AdwareSEPlus\ (unable to scan)

C:\ProgramFiles\OnlineServices\MSN80| (unable to scan)

I would like to know why it can’t scan these files. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

avast tells you why the file can’t be scanned as a part of the report, you may need to open the column width to see the full text.

By examining 1) the reason given by avast! for not being able to scan the files, 2) the location of the files, you can get an idea of what program they relate to. You may need to expand the column headings to see all the text.

Files that can’t be scanned are just that, not an indication they are suspicious/infected, just unable to be scanned.
