Unable to sign in via Avast Free Antivirus UI

I’ve just installed Avast on a freshly reset Windows 10 PC and when I attempt to login to my Avast account through the UI, it reports either “You are already logged in”, or “We are sorry, but we could not connect your device to your account.”

Are you able to login if you do so from your browser ?

I always use my browser, mainly because I don’t like the layout (small) when doing so from the UI.

Yes, my browser logs in.

Thank you for responding. I’ve resolved the issue myself. There appears to be an issue with my local DNS provider - I resolved the problem by using Google’s DNS servers system-wide.
