unable to start avast! Antivirus service error 00000433 has occurred

I am deploying Avast 4.8 via GPO in Active Directory.
The client installs but once the user is logged in the Avast service don’t start.
Which mean I have a unprotected computer, not good.
Error code in ADNM is:
unable to start avast! Antivirus service, error 00000433 has occurred.
The avast service starts if i reboot the computer, but i am not going to request 1000 people to reboot.
If i try to start the service via the services i get:
Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.

Please Help

if i remember the trick from Avast correct:

the above code is given in hex code, so i converted it to decimal code: 1075

then i opened a dosbox and i typed: net helpmsg 1075

this is the result form that: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.

seems like your installation is not good…
did you try to install the MSI package manually to see what happens then??

at this moment i deploy Avast to my Win7 enviroment (company) via GPO succesfully…

edit: ok i really gotta teach myself to read the whole message before replying :smiley:

you deployed but you dont want the users to reboot just 1 time…
its a necessity i believe, one you should take to get protection
