Unable to update db

Hi,

Since October 1st, I have a message : “A problem occurred and the (viral database) update failed. Please try again”
AVAST Free.

Does that error message still occur when you manually try to update Virus definitions from: Menu>Settings>Update>Virus definitions

If you have tried this over more than 2 days then maybe a Repair of Avast could help:
Menu>Settings>Troubleshooting>scroll down and hit [REPAIR APP]

There seems to be a general problem with avast ONE updates.

I don’t know if it’s related to the recent change in this product’s engine?:thinking:

FYI. There is a specific forum section dedicated to the “Avast One” product here: Avast One - Avast Community

I had assumed you had the Avast Antivirus Free product.
