I have tried to install the update of the latest version of Avast Premiere. I kept getting an error message update failed to install try again. I went online and downloaded the Avast Premiere.exe file. I tried installing the update from there it failed again, I don’t remember the error message. I have attached the log file.
I then tried uninstalling my Avast Premiere and starting fresh, but not before trying the repair option before I uninstalled. After going through the fresh install I got the following error message. Attached screenshot.
Any suggestions on how to proceed. I don’t feel too comfortable about not having an Anti Virus program installed.

After two strikes I took the chance and tried for the third time to do a clean install. To my surprise I was successful in getting the Avast Premiere to install. Problem resolved.
Sometimes over the years my Avast installs have produced the same perplexing issue and enough so, that I’ve played with the approaches I’ve used to resolve the issue.
To my surprise, the issue has often been resolved with 2 even 3 or 4 Reboots. Which ironically would be comparable to going through another 'full clean reinstall with Avastclear.exe and reboots required.
