Hi, I’m a free user and I basically am trying to throttle steam’s download rates for the sake of my house mates. I use netlimiter for that.
However, because all of the file transfers are going through avast, I can’t throttle steam specifically. Any help is appreciated.
As far I know, Netlimiter handle network connections very deep. As so avast! WebShield.
My personal experience is not being able to manage both at the same time without lags and issues.
But others could have a better experience.
What I do not recommend is to remove avast! WebShield scanning or you’ll decrease (significantly) your protection level.
