Unhide sandbox folders - Avast 8 Pro (8.0.1485)

Okey dokey chaperoos,

I have had to set my sandbox settings back to default (the same drive as the modified file) because if I change Sandbox storage location the ‘delete contents’ button doesn’t ‘delete contents’ anymore, brilliant! ::slight_smile:

My question is this: how can I unhide the ‘avast! sandbox’ folders on my C:\ & D:\ drives?
I can see them listed in Piriform’s Recuva and although hidden files area showing on my PC they still do not show up.

The latest version of snxConfig that I can find doesn’t recognise this version?
Anyone, …Bueller, Bueller, Bueller…??

You will be able to view these when you boot into safe mode.

8.0.1483 is the regular build and 8.0.1485 is the beta build.
You mention .1483 in one topic then .1485 in other topics. Which are you using?

Upgraded mine to beta 1485 to see if the error had been resolved, which it hasn’t.
‘Safe mode’ that’s a bit pants isn’t it? :o

Still unresolved in the beta? Thanks for the info. Booting into safe mode is a bit much to delete the sandbox contents. This should work without jumping through hoops.
