uninstall password

hi is there any chance that we could have a password for uninstall process on the free version? some times my frineds uninstall it while they use my pc and i hate that

top right corner > Settings > password
i am not sure if this will protect it from uninstall…probably only the settings…

but you can do this with different user accounts on your computer.
activate the guest account and have a password log in on your account

the setting password only for everything but not for uninstall lol. the other idea is good but i dont want it i want to have the uninstall password , even this will be better from security point of view. i mean malware could easily uninstall it if they can bypass the warning msg .

There is protection for that

top right corner > settings > troubleshooting > V enable avast self-defense module

is that gonna ask for password when uninstall ?

Short answer is they would only ever do it once as they wouldn’t every be allowed to use it again. If they can’t respect your system tell them get their own.

You might also consider only allowing them limited user accounts that would limit much of what they do. You could also check out SteadyState for XP/Vista that returns the system to what it was after they log off.

Technical solution: Give them a limited account to play with, not administrator one!
Non-technical but very effective solution: give them a well-aimed kick in the rear part and tell them they need to find someone else to lend them a computer.

Huh all these answers is good according my Q i mean my friends and all i KNow. sorry i was lieng there is no friends but what i wanted is password , now i dont have and i know you will not give in near future so . Thanks Fox

No one who has responder here has any power over that as we are avast users like yourself.

Give them a limited user account as said before.
