Itunes 9.2 was released today and again avast was freezing itunes store searches so… i thought about reinstalling avast 5 internet security, i uninstall without any problem but after reinstalling it my machine became slow slow slow slow, i had to restart windows 7 in secure mode, uninstall avasta and then reboot windows, install avast again and the again my machine become slow as hell i have to leave it that way and after a few minutes apparently is normal now…what a pain in the ars# the last version of avast is.
Which was your old antivirus, before avast?
Any other security program that could interfere?
ive always used avast. nop only the windows 7 firewall.
Difficult to guess… Something is interfering…
How much RAM do you have?
Did you use the avast uninstall utility after you uninstalled in Add/Remove Programs?
