Hi all, I am attempting to uninstall avast 5 free version after it has expired (only 1 day after it has expired), I have gone to the control panel and it is not on the applications list. I have done a search for aswclear.exe, but to no avail. I even went to purchase it and for soe reason it would not accept payment. Am wanting to purchase Avast 6 but cannot install it until the older version has been removed from my pc. Any good ideas on how I can remove the expired free version from my pc? All help greatly appreciated.

You do know that avast 7 is the current version dont you ? you were running 5 and want to purchase 6 ??? it’s all outdated
