Uninstalling Avast

I have long since abandoned Avast, despite having a Premium license, and the desire to go back to talking about the reason for this choice, which was done in the past in several interventions, I do not have.
To help a friend for PC problems we had to uninstall Avast and I had yet another confirmation of how this antivirus, for some time, has been modifying some entries in the Windows Registry in depth. The folders on disk C, Utenti, Programmi and Programmi (x86) after the uninstallation have been renamed in Users, Programs and Program Files (from Italian therefore to English). Of course I think everything is normal!

Hi, this bug has been fixed in the current beta (21.1).

Thank you for the information relating to the bug which I assume will therefore be fixed in the next stable version.

You’re welcome.

The problem I reported appears to have been fixed in the latest version 21.1
That said, I wonder why, for some time now, it has not been possible to certify clean incoming emails with Avast signature (in the past it was possible to do so). This can only be done for emails sent.
In practice, the recipient of the email certainly has antivirus software installed which, among other things, checks his inbox and does not need to know that the sender has sent a message scanned by Avast.
For those who, on the other hand, have installed Avast it would be an additional guarantee of protection if Avast signed the clean incoming message.

Thanks for the feedback.
