im currently on my dads computer. its a gaming computer. 4 gigs mem. dual core intell processor.
the problem started when my dad was updating adobe. it got to 100% but did not complete. when he restarted his computer, everything is slow, when we run task manager it loads fine. but when we try ending anything having to do with adobe, try to see processes from all users, or see services (its running windows 7 btw) it doesnt do a thing. its running, we can see processes start and close and the cpu usage go up and spike wildly. its like we dont have access to it.
when we try running programs from the start menu, teamspeak for example. the program does not start. and the same thing happens like task manager. when we click the start bar we can see the typing thing blinking but we cant click on anything or bring up other menu’s. so far, firefox is the only thing thats working.
the cpu, and memory usage spikes wildly and may go below 20% once in a great while but doesnt stay like that for more the 2 seconds. we cant uninstall adobe because no uninstaller pops up. from what i seen before it froze on me. there is no uninstall file in either of the 2 folders in the adobe folder. i have no idea what is going on here. can anyone give me some help?
