Hi, I have multiple viruses on my computer which I can’t delete. I tried to look these up on your site and can’t find them. They are: MuMu-C [Wrm], BV:MuMuB [Wrm], Win32:lpcscan [Trj], Win32: Pcghost, [Trj], Win32: lpcscan [Trj]. Tried to repair and couldn’t. Please offer any advice that you can as to what my next step should be.
You should be able to delete it in Windows Safe Mode. Mayabe you have to delete some Entries in the registry after delete these files.

Hi Raman, thanks for your help. Couldn’t repair in safe mode. Wouldn’t let me. Also says that i have a IRC Worm [Gen.]. Now everytime my computer boots up a program called mIRC (which looks like some kind of chat service comes up. They also have a web site called mIRC.com. any ideas on what is going on with my computer? Please help Raman!

we have windows xp office version
Possible NTFS Partitions? You can try to download the BART CD from Avast: http://www.avast.com/i_idt_154.html
Or you can first try to rename the files who were reported as infected and delete them after restart. (Do all this in Safe mode)
BTW: does the Homeversion not offer to delete the files after next start if necessary?
