Unlimited license not unlimited?

whom we report to, is the one that set up the license and researched Avast before the decision was made to switch over.
That person is responsible for the license, not you. That means he/she should contact avast and ask for a extension for the amount of systems supported.
I am the person in charge of deployment, so it is my responsibility, not his.
No, it is not your responsibility. You are not the one that is responsible for the amount of systems supported through the license. He is.

Stop whining and go tell him to do his job right.

You can stop posting now, Troll. I get it, you want to boss people around in a forum. Look at you, big man.

I can’t help it if you don’t understand things.
With calling people a Troll, you shouldn’t b surprised if you do not get any help at all.

Your boss is the one who ordered the amount of licenses.
He didn’t order enough.
Guess who has to correct this?
Not you, but him.
He also will have the contact information of “avast educational department”.

I understand things and the biggest thing I understand is there are problems with Avast and they don’t want to fix it. They want us to BUY support. We now have 2000 licenses and guess what, 753 machines that aren’t protected because “we don’t have enough licenses”

As I’ve stated since I joined this forum, it is not deploying correctly and there is nothing we can do except (a) consult the forum [which has been a waste of my time] and (b) pay for support [and conveniently we have a problem that is big enough to warrant paying]

I have the original emails and have been in contact with Avast, I don’t understand why you don’t get that I’m the one responsible for this. Guess who got additional licenses, me not him. :o

I didn’t call people a troll, I called you a troll for insulting me and my boss. You have been wasting my time, so… please stop.

See, you are calling people trolls and that will not help you to get support.

That’s where you are wrong, I got help from Avast. You have done nothing but talk in circles and insult me. Move along…

chetffranz send an email to edu-support@avast.com and request a resend of your license.

I’m glad you got support Plovell. I hope the increase in license count has helped. You may have to remove and rediscover any clients that are still showing the lock icon.

Thanks Chad, it was a database problem, even though we had enough licenses, it was saying that we didn’t. After the Avast tech remoted in and cleaned up the database and reset the count, all is well now.

That’s why I was so frustrated with Eddy, he was talking in circles and not really helping, mainly because he had no idea what my problem was and wouldn’t listen to the explanation. I seriously think all he wanted to do was cause trouble.

I appreciate your input Chad.
