First off we are waaaaay off-topic and second i have no idea what point you’re trying to make here or why the hell you are even posting. I posted in this thread with the sole purpose of providing some usefull info which i did. So this thread is over for me as i didn’t come here to argue with anybody or to discuss my system.

Sorry if my posts offended you. I have no intention to argue over other people’s systems. I knew it’s bit off topic but I thought it’s OK since you started to talk about OC, which is not related with the original post.

Well, to be honest, I was bit surprised by a sudden reaction from darth_mikey and thought about it a bit. Then, I came across an idea that some people might have grudge against me when I asked about the necessity of changing my Windows OS. At that time, I questioned myself if I need Win7 system and couldn’t convince myself and asked if people here what the possible practical merits for that. I thought it would be suitable for me to ask advice here since quite many people still have old OSes and must have enough knowledge to tame them. After all, Avast is known to use less resources compared with its competitors.
So, if someone still feels offended by my posts at that time, I must say that they were not directed at you/your systems. I was simply thinking of my necessity like other people who come to these boards to seek for advice. Well, as for the initial problem at the moment, I guess I’m happy with my system, though.
Sorry for going too off topic but I think this thread gathers PC enthusiasts and probably a good place to make things clear. Most likely due to my chicken level of memory, I rarely keep my grudge against someone, which makes me careless at times.[Edit]
