I was running netstat in order to look for open connections and I stumbled upon a connection to IP address 77.234.45.60 on port 80, which turned out to be Avast! Streaming updates server. I was surprised that a connection established by an antivirus was using an unsecure connection. My question is whether there is a way to use TLS-based connection for the updates?
We use our own internal encryption.
