Hello!
Today I got an “unsecured” warning from Avast, just out of the blue. The only think I did at that time was that I pluged in my photo camera (via USB), but I don’t know how could that be a reason - I did that many times before without any problems. Anyway, I clicked on the “fix now” button and everything seems ok now. How can I prevent that from happening? I’m using the latest official version of Avast.
Did you run Windows System Restore?
Can you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair).
It just happened again! I have Windows System Restore disabled, I don’t use it. I used the repair function like you said, I hope that helps.
Are there any new unp*.tmp.mdmp files in avast’s data folder (\Documents and settings\All Users\ALWIL Software\avast5\log) ? If so please send them to me (email).
