Unsolicited connections with AvastSVC.exe

Can someone explain this to me. AvastSVC.exe seems to be having connections with addresses I didn’t visit. Like facebook etc as you can see in the attached file. I can assure you I have visited facebook on the day in question(today). Is this a R.A.T infection.

if you search the forum for “AvastSVC.exe” you should find lost of info …as this have been asked many times before

here is one

The web shield redirects all http connections (you initiate using your browser, etc.) through the localhost proxy, which is controlled by avastSvc.exe and that is why you see so many connections attributed to avastSvc.exe. If the web shield and localhost proxy weren't used then you would see a huge increase in the connections for your browser

The problem is I didn’t initiate any connection with facebook today. How did AvastSvc.exe establish?

Sites that you visit may well have links to facebook, etc. the main thing is that avast doesn’t initiate the connection, it only redirects the connection through the localhost proxy.
