Like many others I’m sure, when I downloaded the recent updated version of Avast, the 3rd party ‘dropbox’ was automatically downloaded. I didn’t catch the part where you can uncheck the box for that, and it is checked by default (I thought Avast was above that). I uninstalled it from ‘add/remove’ programs, thinking it was removed. But documents and settings, under owner/
application data, there is still a folder for it and it’s not empty. Can’t delete it, get the ‘access denied’ box saying to make sure the disk is not full or write protected or currently in use, even with no programs running. So how is the dropbox FULLY removed??
Have you tried deleting the folder when in SafeMode?
