unwanted email footer

good afternoon
i’m using Avast Internet Security v 2014.9.0. My outgoing email now carries a “scanned by Avast” footer. I’d like to remove it, can anyone please tell me how to change my preferences to have this removed?

You can turn off the email tagging… In v9 it got changed to default ( I don’t know why)
