Unwanted Icons & Program (Virus ?)

For several months i have unexpected icons on my desktop

  • “My Antivirus Update”

  • “Find a date”

  • “Casino Online”

  • It seem’s they are displaid by a program ‘iexplorer’. I can kill this process with task manager, the icons disappear , but immediately another ‘iexplorer’ is starting.

  • i have an unwanted program in my startup
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Dart Idle Trans Scr\Kind Online.exe

It’s possible to clean all this,(using msconfig, deleting exe file, but after some days all this is coming back.
( the exe file appears with a new name)

My children use this computer and have a huge activity ( msn / peer to peer) and i have no information about which activity is responsable for this problem

I have found no software able to clean my computer .
Of course I’m using Avast, and for its point of view there are any viruses on my computer

Thanks if somebody has a idea

Welcome garmand, are you using xp? if so turn off system restore & reboot. Did you try spybot sd,adaware, ect? Try these in safe mode. Also avast boot time scan.

Follow the instructions in the malware removal sevtion on this website > http://mrspock.dsmirc.co.uk

Your computer is infected with spyware, and although avast! does remove some spyware, there are specialist programs which do a better job. Unfortunately, nothing seems to remove 100% of spyware, but there are many different programs available free, and if you run all of them, you should end up reasonably free of problems. It’s also worth running a specialist anti-Trojan program.

Microsoft AntiSpyware will protect against spyware in real time, so make sure you have that, or Webroot if you want to pay. Also SpywareBlaster protects against infection (It’s free), and IE-Spyad is also good.
