My Avast free is about to expire and I am given the “low Price” option to “up-Grade” and it says it…
blocks viruses and spyware
provides safe online shopping
secures your identity and data
surf and run apps virtually
prevents hacker attempts
stops spam
protects phishing scams
provides safe online banking
secures your ip address

Now i went to purchase it, the free has been good and now I want to give back, price seems fair compared to others, I go to place the order and you can “buy” more :frowning: one option was something to do with password protection, another was something to do with secure surfing or your IP for like an additional $60 (not cheap), the extras are way more than the paid version I thought I was buying…I thought by reading the description of what was coming with the paid version I was getting all this, apparently not or they want you to buy more, kinda sad and will someone comment, is the paid version really worth it, or is it not that much more than the free version if I still have to buy the “extras”

I understand I don’t have to buy the extras, what I would like to know is, will the paid version do what is advertised or do you really need to buy the extras?

What a paid version does or does not, depends on the version.
