Everytime I attempt to update my daughters AV database, I get an access denied flag.
I’ve downloaded the update file (to rule out firewall) and tried to run it but get a can’t install window with error messages

ST 0x00000005
LE 0x00000000
Any help?
I suppose you’re using Windows 98…
Do you use a firewall?
Do you have (or had) any other antivirus in your system?
Did you try repairing avast! installation (Control Panel)/
Are you working as admin or limited user ?
I am running XP, administrator and no other antivirus programs.
Have not tried repairing/reinstalling yet.
Sounds like you have Process Guard installed on your computer!
