Update definitions is displaying the yellow exclamation mark; will not update??

Good afternoon,

 I have noticed the "virus definitions version" is displaying the yellow "exclamation" icon beside it.  Despite having clicked on <UPDATE NOW>, the program will still continue displaying this icon.  I have tried updating the program; restarting my computer;...all to no avail.

The current update number shown is: 110827-1

(I have attached a screenshot of the Avast! page in question)

I would appreciate any assistance in correcting this situation. (It has never happened before, by the way).

Hello,
Go to add/install program and click on uninstall avast!
A window will open, scroll down to select repair and click next…
After the repair, restart your computer and see if it is fixed :slight_smile:
