Update Error

Hi,

Avast can’t update, whining “host unreachable” in both auto and manual update. I’ve verified the inet connection and it’s working.

The Update screen shows these info:

Virus Definitions:
Current Version: 131021-0
Release Date: 10/21/2013 09:23:03 PM

Program:
Current Version: 2014.9.0.2006
A new version of the program (2014.9.0.2007) is available!

What’s going on?

Everything fine here, manual updates working… Have you tried a repair?

Heh, it turns out that Outpost IS/Firewall is the culprit. It blocked Avast update connection. Avast can update after Outpost tweak.
