I do NOT appreciate you snuck in google in the latest update. The checkbox and text were sooo tiny furthest down. I hate when you trick people to install shit on their computers…

avast doesn’t.
The latest update was a micro-fix released through a VPS update.
It just solved a problem with https scanning through the webshield, nothing more nothing less.

Sorry Eddy but if you don’t have Chrome, the option to install Chrome will be pre checked.
It’s on the bottom, very small and easy to miss.
Installing Unchecky, will uncheck it should you miss it.

I didn’t expect it to change your answer. It also doesn’t change the fact that these practices
result in creating some unhappy customers. ( Never a good thing when it’s easily avoidable. )
