A red message popped up today stating that my update license will soon expire. I have Avast! free and didn’t know I had an update license — what do I do?

You have to re-register your avast free license every 14 months.

After registering, they’ll send u a new license number through email.
Just right click the avast icon and go to “about avast”, click “license key”, and enter the key u got from email.
