I guess they resolved the fact that it wasn’t functional by removing it
Unlike you I have gone in the opposite direction, I no longer run the beta builds. I got fed up of the inconsistencies, were something was functioning OK only to be screwed up in a beta release.
Currently I’m only running the latest version on my XP Pro system (much better backup and recovery strategy in place) and not on my win10 system. It has got to that point were I now wait to see what transpires in the forums before I manually update. I may however have to do that before I allow the next win10 program update.
But things are more clear now, since the Beta version 18.7.2354 has been released, there is no beta session running. So following the usual pattern the next beta session (if one of the monthly ones) would be 18.8.xxxx.
However, given there is going to be a fork in the road with the Vista/XP oses not being supported from November 2018, 18.x needs a polish to ensure all issues (there are a few in the forums) are resolved before pressing on with avast 19.x.
No not that I’m aware of, and yes the FW settings ‘coming soon’ has been since the new UI was introduced.
So I was just interested due to the post by NON that the ui had been updated. I didn’t notice any change in mine.
By ‘exclusions’ are you meaning ‘exceptions’ (as shown in my UI)
In any case I’ve had the option to add exception for some time…never used it though.
ON a side note the “Back up Settings” and “Repair” are still inactive/not functioning.
Edit: Is it possible folks UI’s are updating at different times. Some sooner then others?
