Real quick question to anyone out there,just recently when I get an update I get the voice notification and then about 5 seconds later I get the pop up notification along with the voice again. Now I know this is no big thing,just wondering if anyone else has noticed it happening to them. Otherwise all is fine.

Thanks Bob I should have done a search on the subject before I asked. At least I know I’m not alone with this. Its no big deal at all,just something new happening to my puter that I noticed,t/c.

Took me a while to come to the forum.
The double announcement seems to have started with an Avast ad to upgrade - two green boxes instead of just the ‘updated’ one. Even closing the box doesn’t kill it.
Oh well… Avast is ‘aware’ of the glitch.
I too am experiencing the double announcement, but it suddenly began yesterday (8/16/2012). No known reason. Haven’t changed anything. We keep the volume at max for my husband and the loud double announcements are really annoying, as they occur throughout the day. Please keep working on this.
it is already fixed if you install the beta release…
or just turn off update sound…until you recive next oficial release
I get 2 update notification’s too but doesn’t bother me. I do turn my speakers down before going to bed though.
