I cannot run any update.
I have the version 4.8 home edition.
No problem with the router firewall.
My windows XP firewall is oFF.
The other PC (also version 4.8) connected to same router has not this problem.
Help.
Was there any other previous antivirus in this machine?
Isn’t it infected? Can you browse other sites?

what avast version you are using free/AIS?Pro/Premier and what version number, the latest version being 9.0.2013.
What operating system your are using and what firewall.
