Hopefully this will be an easy question. When avast gets an update, what is the user-agent set to, if it’s even set?
User-Agent is usually associated with using a browser, since the avast update doesn’t use a browser, I doubt user-agent comes into it (but I don’t know this for certain).

The reason I ask is because I’ve seen other antivirus software like Symantec and McAfee use custom user-agents for their updates. I don’t know if avast! does the same for its updates.
If you’re intersted in what avast does, check ‘setup.log’ in the avast directories. (there’re two of them)
