Update Virus Definition

For a few weeks now, the virus definition update on my Windows PC has stopped working. I’m getting an error message. What can I do?

Are you able to use the Manual Virus Definitions Update and does that work ?

What is your Avast Product and what is the version number e.g. Avast Antivirus Free version 25.2.xxxx ?

The Manual Virus Definitions Update also does not work.
I use the product Avast one family. The Version Number is: 25.6.6165

First, I’m an Avast Antivirus Free user and not an Avast Team member.

I’m still using Avast Antivirus Free 25.5 (not yet updated to 25.6) and I allow Auto VPS Updates, just did a manual on and that went through OK.

This may have been better if posted in the Avast One sub-forum.
