Update

  1. I was wondering if u r not on the computer for a week
what happens to the updates for virus that r new do
they store them and still put the ones u miss or u just
don’t get them example if I miss 420-0 will I get it
tomorrow if there was a 420-1.

  2. Plus after u read this how do I delete it. I try to delete
my last question after I read your answer and I
    couldn’t.

  3. It shows I got the recent 4.1.396 but it shows April 21
st instead of April 27th is that a problem.

Thanks for your help. I did sent a email to u guys but never got a reply back sorry in being a bother but I am new to this.

  1. Of course you get all the ones you are missing. You don’t have to worry that you’ll miss anything if you keep your computer off for some time.
  2. There should be a “Delete” button in the upper right corner of the post… isn’t it? (I am not sure, maybe it’s restricted to moderators only). In any case, there is no need to delete answered posts! They may be useful to other users later.
  3. I don’t think it’s a problem, but where exactly do you see the date?

I see the date when I scan for virus underneat the 420-0
your question to #3 Thanks

I am still a little confused. You mean the Virus recovery database date in the Simple User Interface or… ?

yes in the interface the program the one it shows is april21st not april27th (not the virus update but the program version) Thanks again

I cannot see any date of program in the user interface.
The “Current version of virus database” shows the version and the compilation date of the virus database. The other items (Date of last scan, Virus recovery database) may show other dates related to the operations on your system, but the program compilation date simply isn’t there… (only in the About box, there is Apr2004).
The “version” of the program is simply given by the build number, no date.
