Why does my avast tell me everything is up to date in the main status window when I’m still running version 9.0.2006?
up to date means VPS
and program updates are spread over weeks to ease server load…
if all 200 000 000 should do that at the same time you would see some servers burning in prague 
Anyway, you can always manually upgrade the program 
Do you have Avast monitoring the program version? The default is off; you can change the setting in Settings > Appearance > scroll down to Status Monitoring.
