Updated to 2014.9.0.2016 - No internet access after restart

Updated my Avast tonight to the new version, but after restarting the PC to complete the update, I can no longer connect to the internet. I do connect to the network, but it says ‘No Internet access’ under the network name.

In relation to Avast, I’ve tried uninstalling the Avast Firewall after reading here it does fix some peoples problems, however after doing this I still have no internet access.

Had no internet issues before updating and all other things in the house are still connecting to the internet fine (Laptop, PS4 etc).

Any help would be appreciated.

Try disabling the AOS add-on in internet explorer.
You could also run IE is safe mode and see if that works too.
