Sad day
Posted by Antonis Kaladis on August 29th, 2007
Today we received an e-mail from Microsoft, requesting the immediate take-down of the download page, which of course means that AutoPatcher is probably history. As much as we disagree, we can do very little, and although the download page is merely a collection of mirrors, we took the download page down.
We would like to thank you for your support. For the past 4 years, it has been a blast. Unfortunately, it seems like it’s the end of AutoPatcher as we know it.
Comments are welcome…

Unfortunately this program is not really freeware… developers are just using that as a trick to fish people and get more users… program will allow you to synchronize a certain number of files and after that program will simply stop working forcing you to buy it. I found out this reading some user reviews…

Thanks for posting. Removing immediately from my recommendations and uninstalling it.

I’m surprised at the frequency of the updates of JkDefrag that I find strange for a non-beta defrag tool. I just wonder what all these are about and if it is a stable, ready for prime time and use on a production system.

I tried JkDefrag, it made my hd more fragmented than ever!!! >:(

It seems to occur the same for me on Vista…

Four JkDefrag updates in five days it really does make me wonder what these people are up to. Is the program so bug ridden that it is constantly requiring update.
