and free version users too ;D
Strange I didn’t get a restart needed when I completed the free version update and I have just run a scan with 1.45 after the update and no problems.

Probably the greatest news in that topic at their forum is that they really do finally have incremental updates in the works and hope to have it functional by summer.

Why should a free version user need to reboot?
AFAIK the free version doesn’t start any service or any resident programs…
So if you download the new version, you can start and use it without reboot. Or am I off tracks somehow?
I have no idea, I just got the prompt, and it was probably useless
No idea, and why on some systems and not others? I just had a quick look around the MBAM forums but didn’t see anything about it. ???
Well I don’t know if other MBAM free users got is exactly the same as the reboot requirement and image posted earlier, all that I got was that MBAM would need to restart not that a reboot was required.

…which is indeed very logical. That is the behaviour I would expect for free version.
MBAM free doesn’t reboot your PC, it only restarts the MBAM itself.

MBAM may have a Run Once cleanup that needs to run at reboot.

Don’t think so.
Did anyone see any performance increase?
Did anyone see any performance increase?
With MBAM ???
I did not see any.
Sometimes I feel that MBAM is scrambling in my RAM ;D
So, there is no performance difference . :-X

I did not see any.
With mine if anything marginally slower for a quick scan.
