Strange Kenny mine took three minutes only one update, I always skip the Malicious software tool download 10MB, no way.

The only update I had for Windows 7 was the Malicious software removal tool.

you should have had these two >>> pic below (well I guess W7/32 was also concerned…)

I get a warning in Firefox when clicking on the download link to sign in…no warning in Chrome though.

Just checked it (though I obviously won’t be downloading it), but the link opens ok for me with firefox 3.6.6, are you using the firefox 4 beta build ?

yes, so may be it’s that, the certificate validation check might be broken in this beta…Will report this tomorrow on Mozillazine…

NoScript 1.10
http://noscript.net/

NoScript 1.10.x is the last serie supporting Firefox 2.0 and older browsers. It will be updated only if affected by serious security vulnerabilities (very unlikely). This will allow the upcoming NoScript 2.x series to be developed faster and better, by removing legacy compatibility code and fully leveraging the latest APIs and language features.

edit: for those interested, NS 2.0 RC2 is already there (explaining the quoted text above)

MailWasher® Pro 2010 Release
Latest Version: 1.0.4
Released: 16th July 2010
Will cost 10.00 US to upgrade to this version…i did and it was worth it…it is different from previous versions
how to upgrade… http://www.firetrust.com/en/products/mailwasher-pro/upgrade

I don’t think we nee chapter and verse of every feature, tweak, fix, just a link to the info, then those who are interested can look. Edit: seems you did that whilst I type my response ;D

I have been a long term user of mailwasher pro and I may not bother with this version as it required .NET framework and can for the life of me see why an anti-spam application needs that.

Thanks Dan. This one is worth the investment.

Java 6 Update 21 is now released. Exclude Yahoo! Toolbar at installation.

I thought JAVA 6 update 21 was released over a week ago I have had it for a while now.

I checked my Java through the control panel and tried to do an update and it says I have the latest version when I have update 20. It won’t do the update even though the Java site says there is one available.

I have never found either the JAVA update checker (which it insists is started on boot and I never got notified) nor the manual update check to be of any use whatsoever.

I have always gotten notified and have never updated any other way.
