Tuesday, October 19, 2010 Defraggler v2.0 Beta
Today marks a milestone in the Defraggler product history. After nearly a year of development and testing, we’re proud to release the first test version of the new Defraggler v2.0!
This new release pushes the capabilities of Defraggler far beyond any other free defragmentation tool, by offering complete offline defrag during the boot process with full OS support.
Additionally the UI has been improved with a new Drive Map and customizations. We’ve also rearchitected the internal defrag processes to make it faster and more efficient!
This is a Beta version, so we don’t recommend it for general usage just yet. We’re confident it’s bug free, but please only use it on test systems until we release the final build. Don’t worry this will be in weeks, not months.
Download Defraggler v2.0 beta now from our Download Center.
Please post any bug reports to our forum.

Why are we announcing beta versions of a competing antivirus program here
???
Bob, you are a hypocrite. You, who preaches peace and harmony on these Avast forums jumped at the opportunity to discredit me and a new software I was introducing, mistakenly thinking it was an AV program from a competitor.
At least some forum members here have dedicated systems for the sole purpose of beta software development, whether from Avast or other vendors. The newer features/technologies can be added to Avast’s wishlist and possibly enhance the Avast products.
Expand your mind, please.

You forgot to mention that I immediately corrected that post as soon as I realized my mistake and, I didn't attack you. I simply asked a question. The last time I checked, asking questions is still permitted. :)
